Facing public transport demand in a difficult economical context is a growing concern for local authorities and transport operators. Synergies must be found between all actors to find innovative solutions not only in the technology field, but also in the procurement processes.
COMPRO partners are offering to share the results of their work on common procurement of clean public transport vehicles. Local and national experiences in this field have already emerged here and there. Are these first experiences replicable at European level? What are the technical, juridical, financial tools that can be implemented to enable buyers to act in a joined manner? What is the degree of compromise and willingness necessary to achieve this objective? COMPRO final conference will merge success stories of common procurement as well as interactive discussion with major transport and procurement actors to pave the way towards a European clean vehicle market. |
