ISIS has participated to a large number of leading EU research projects both as partner and coordinator. ISIS track record of experiences includes more than 80 relevant projects in the fields of:

Transport & Mobility

International and national research projects in which ISIS has been part, cover a wide range of issues related to sustainable transport and mobility: pricing and taxation; promotion of sustainable modes of transport; freight and logistics, green public procurement.

The services ISIS provides in European projects on Transport & Mobility cover the following areas:

  • Support to the definition of policies for sustainable urban transport (projects CIVITAS, CANTIQUE)
  • Evaluation of the investments for sustainable transport and intermodality (projects HEATCO, RECORDIT)

Energy & Environment

The research undertaken by ISIS in the international projects deals in particular with energy saving in sectors such as households, industry, transport, and tertiary. A special expertise has been accrued in assessing the environmental and social costs of energy production and consumption.

The services ISIS provides provide in European projects on Energy & Environment cover the following areas:

  • Support to the definition of policies and strategies for energy saving and rational use of energy (i.e. project MURE)

Planning & Participation

ISIS has promoted and participated to various research projects dealing with urban and mobility planning, integration of land use and transport policies, and citizens participation in the evaluation of EU policies and research.
